Hehe, shoes.


You take your shoes off a lot in Korea.  It's impolite to enter someone's home with shoes on, especially because you sleep and sit on the floor so often.  You also take them off a lot at restaurants, since there's a lot of floor seating at traditional restaurants.  This was at a restaurant that I ate at last month and it is my favorite "take off your shoes" sign that I've ever seen.  And maybe I've contemplated doing that before... just sayin...
