As of this February, a few short weeks away, I will be living in a new country.
As of right now, I'm waiting for my visa issuance number from the Gwangju immigration so that I can take it with my passport and a copy of my FBI criminal record check (which states that I have no arrest record, thank you very much) to get my actual visa! Then I will get my plane ticket and vamos!
As of right now, I'm learning Korean. I can say "hello, I'm an American" and I can see and hear the difference in boy, girl, man, woman, dog, elephant, ball, plane, and car. I'm glad that Korean has an alphabet that I can learn, and not just rely on memory for each character!
As of right now, I have several books about Korea and living there and even a novel that talks about an American girl living over there! I'm preparing the best way I know how.
Welcome to my life :)
So excited for you friend! Coffee is a must before you go! :)
